The Role

Make this a pitch. As our Warehouse Supervisor,  you’ll be directly responsible for leading and developing a high caliber team to deliver operational excellence across all warehouse functions. The Supervisor will join a team that plays an integral role in delivering material to the line in just in time fashion. This individual will work hand and hand with the team lead, Materials Manager & cross functional teams, ensuring that their team is set up for success to work safely and productively, and serving as the point of escalation and resolution for daily operations.

What you’ll do:

• Maintain standard work documentation, training, attendance, overtime, and process adherence
• Evaluates warehouse associate behavior based safe working behaviors, quality of work, productivity levels, and adherence to general standards and policies to provide constructive feedback
• Identify best practices, process changes, operational issues/concerns, and general improvement opportunities
• Ensure prompt, efficient and accurate handling of merchandise as well as developing and implementing team goals
• Coordinates and monitors operations with the Materials Manager  to ensure efficiency is consistent with business plan and pattern, reducing irregularities and damages
• Coaching and Developing Associate - Guides associates in daily operations, and monitors to ensure a high degree of productivity, safety, service and quality
• Drives Results - Maintains inventory accuracy and control; reviews reports identifies area of improvement for key metrics including productivity, accuracy, quality and expenses
• Attend (and lead) daily or weekly meetings to provide updates on responsible KPIs like Delivery, Safety, Quality & Productivity
• Lead Root Cause Corrective Action analysis related to KPIs like Delivery, Safety, Quality & Productivity

Skills to be successful:

• Experience with various Warehouse Management Systems
• Proven ability to mentor & develop warehouse team leads and associates
• Self-motivated , positive, and a team player
• Demonstrating experience as an effective communicator with the ability to lead a team
• Ability to work within different IT systems and tools: ERP, WMS, Microsoft Office, etc
• Ability to identify trends within data (utilizing Pareto Charts or visual management tools) and drive action based on the data available
• Creation & implementation of training plans for warehouse operational and safety functions
• Providing daily/weekly reports on warehouse projects and KPIs
• Bridging short falls & implementing countermeasures to prevent them from occurring again in the future
• Identifying waste and structuring team involvement in efforts toward continuous improvement

Nice to haves:

• Background in energy, fleet management, or EV industry
• Manufacturing experience

Shift and Compensation details:

• Shift: 1PM-9:30PM
• Compensation: $80-$90K

Pay Equity

Maximum amounts are reserved for those candidates that exceed all experience and background requirements.  We reserve the right to offer compensation based on level of experience.  Moxion has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay within the San Francisco Bay area. If you live outside that region, the range is subject to change. 

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within the range provided above. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
