Union54 is seeking a UX Designer with a flair for problem-solving and a proactive attitude. This is a full-time, remote position, allowing for flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere. Our ideal candidate is someone who combines a deep understanding of user behavior with a robust skillset in visual design.
Position Overview
As our UX Designer, you will be instrumental in shaping the user experience of our products. You should be adept at balancing business objectives and technical constraints with user needs. Your role will involve working in a fast-paced, agile environment within multifunctional teams to deliver innovative features swiftly. A strong interest in user behaviour psychology, coupled with skills in illustration, is key.
Responsibilities
- Design intuitive interfaces, flows, and experiences, impacting users directly.
- Work collaboratively with engineers, designers, and product managers to ideate and refine features.
- Employ user testing and persona analysis to ensure an exceptional user experience, especially for complex banking processes.
- Enhance internal design methodologies and contribute to best practices (like a design pattern library and app naming conventions).
Skills Required
- Proficiency in conceptualizing and implementing designs effectively and efficiently.
- Proficiency in grammar and English copy/communication.
- Expertise in Figma.
- Ability to simplify complex processes into user-friendly designs.
- Champion of design guidelines and best practices.
- Skilled in creating wireframes, storyboards, and user flows for clear communication with developers.
- Proficient in prototyping for user testing.
- Confident in engaging with clients and stakeholders.
- Own and curate the design system.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Experience with motion design tools such as Figma or Framer.
