The Role
As a founding member of our engineering team you will play a key role in the early design of our web application architecture and the development of our team. You will have the opportunity to not only architect and build software systems, but also shape the organization itself.
You will build a rental and logistics platform to manage and deploy available inventory, a marketplace for energy acquisition and deployment, and predictive analytics tools to understand customer and market needs before they arise, just to name a few projects.
We are bringing advancements in technology to industries that have been neglected for a long time. Your work will introduce these advancements and help to guide customers through the energy transition.
Skills to be successful:
- Advanced expertise in distributed web application development
- Practice principled engineering best practices
- Proficient in several programming languages relevant to our existing stack (React.JS, TypeScript, GraphQL, Git, Docker, AWS)
Bonus points for:
- Experience in energy, battery, or vehicle electrification industries
- Machine learning or predictive modeling
- Time series data storage, analysis, and management

- Compensation Range: $175,000-200,000
Pay Equity
Moxion is committed to the principle of pay equity – paying employees equitably for substantially similar work. Compensation displayed is a range. Maximum amounts are reserved for those candidates that exceed all experience and background requirements. We reserve the right to offer compensation based on level of experience. Moxion has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay within the San Francisco Bay area. If you live outside that region, the range is subject to change.
Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within the range provided above. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
