What you will do 😎
- You are part of defining and implementing the UI for new features from the prototype to the pixel-perfect responsive web app. You can give input and participate in decision-taking meeting with our head of product and our CTO.
- You have freedom and ownership of implementing the user stories end-to-end including UI DOM markup, state management, logic and data-handling over redux/api/websocket.
- You optimize the code to reach an UI that feels snappy (100ms response time) and polished. You value you ideas for performance optmizations and for intuitive interactions like micro-animations. Your passion of great UI and UX is welcome.
- You work with a full-stack team of backend, app, web developers, designers and dedicated testers. You can trust finding a helping hand, a sparrings partner and peer reviewer. You can contribute a lot and learn even more.
- You have time to do research, co-define stardards, create a component library. You can even ask questions to our tier-1 investors ycombinator.com, heartcore.com, stride.vc, and angels from Pitch.com, Wunderlist, Rocket Internet, Blinkist, EloPage, EyeEm.
Must-have qualifications 🧐
- 5+ years React experience with a passion for UI/UX and polished consumer and social products and startups in general.
- Be motivated by a lot of change requests because you know that this means we iterate fast and move aligned with user needs.
- Experience implementing micro-animations, snappy interfaces and optimizing React (redux, routing, lifecycle-methods).
Bonus skills to wow us 🤩
- Knowledge in ReactNative, Socketio, Nodejs
- Design skills using Figma and Adobe
- Usage of tools Figjam, Miro, Notion, Linear
- Expertise with gamification, social apps or video live streaming
- Worked at startups in a Series-B stage or bigger
