Senior Mechanical Engineer, Surgical Robotics

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Revolve, you will design and prototype hardware components and subsystems for our novel surgical robotics platform. You will own projects from concept to production. The role requires collaboration with surgeons, nurses, and engineers to determine design criteria and build systems quickly and effectively.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and implement new components and features to our surgical robotic system
• Build additional prototypes of our surgical robotic system to support surgeon testing

Skills & Experience

We are looking for the following skills and experience:

• CAD (Solidworks, Onshape)
• Mechanism design
• DFM (machining, injection molding)
• Medical device development experience (concept to production)
• Human factors and ergonomics design, especially for interfaces and controllers

Additional experience in the following is a bonus:

• Commercial medical device product design
• Experience with rapid prototyping
• Experience with structural design and optimization
