Senior Frontend Engineer

Maven Bio is building the platform that will allow stakeholders of all disciplines to effectively evaluate therapeutic opportunities. As the first full-time frontend engineer you will be at the forefront of ideating and implementing Maven Bio's UX and UI.

We are building an “AI-native” product. This means that we are deeply infusing AI features and workflows throughout the product to improve our user’s experience. Delivering on this goal requires pioneering new UX/UI to enable these features (note: we believe that the “chatbot” in the corner UX is innately flawed and that we have an opportunity to set the standard for what an AI-native UX looks like in a B2B app).

You will be empowered to iterate potential designs and will work closely with the founders to optimize the user experience.

Our front-end technology stack is: Typescript, React.js, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS (w/Tailwind UI components).

Our back-end service is written in Python and has an extensive API service for the front-end to utilize.

Experiences you may have:

• 3+ years of intensive development experience
• React expertise
• Experience building UIs for AI-driven features
• Experience building data-intensive UIs

Requirements:

• In-office work four days per week (Boston, MA)
• Enjoy building software
• Interest in the BioPharma industry (or open to becoming so)

To that end, we work in-person in our Boston office four days per week.
