About This Opportunity

The Sales Support Specialist will be responsible for analyzing and understanding the needs and pain points of the sales team and customers, reducing task-oriented works of the sales team, creating solutions for customers together with the sales team. This includes sales administrative tasks, sales process optimization, planning and reporting, performance analytics and business insights, contract management, and business communication and messaging for all products and service lines of Align technology.

In this role, you will…

  • Continue to learn a good knowledge of whole company processes, procedures, product information, and sales, manufacturing, and distribution structure of the company to respond effectively to the Sales team and customers
  • Be the first point of contact for the Sales Team with an ability to understand the challenges faced
  • Be in charge of all the sales processes taking place in a company and also are responsible for coordinating sales representatives
  • Create and update entries of interactions with sales and customers timely and accurately into customer support systems database following defined parameters (including SFDC tickets)
  • Look for opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality of the entire sales process, and execute
  • Assist in the development of business plans, processes, and procedures, and create reports to monitor the progress
  • Establish and maintain a strong relationship with key stakeholders such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, and Operations to provide solutions to customers
  • Perform any other projects or duties as assigned

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ Years sales admin, sales operations, and/or customer support related work experience
  • A college degree
  • Language Skills
  • Native Japanese and Intermediate English are required

COMPUTER SKILL

  • Familiarity with Windows environment. Ability to learn software applications and related systems such as SAP, SFDC quickly. Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint
  • Other Skills And Abilities
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
  • A person with service excellence mindset
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with effective communication skills to partner with cross-function teams to achieve company goals
