We're looking for a Regional Event Coordinator to join the US-based team at Edpuzzle, a leading edtech company trusted by over 80% of schools in the USA and millions of teachers and students across the globe, with offices in San Francisco and Barcelona. The Regional Event Coordinator is responsible for every aspect of an event (live or online), from choosing the best events in the world that will help Edpuzzle grow, to evaluating the event’s success afterwards.

Responsibilities: Understand requirements for each event and plan details accordingly. Manage all event operations (booking, stand, invitations, seminars, swag, travels, offsites, etc.). Reach out to new stand contractors or existing partners, coordinate the design following the event goals, negotiate prices and submit specifications to our design team. Coordinate the internal and external teams’ communication. Do final checks before and during the event to ensure everything meets standards. Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems. Evaluate the event’s success and submit reports. Coordinate merchandising requirements, negotiate prices with vendors, coordinate design requests and plan orders for events and other marketing actions in the region. Support sales and marketing executives in organizing various projects. Perform other duties as assigned.

Bonus skills: Previous experience with remote teams Previous teaching experience or experience with the educational ecosystem Experience working in tech companies

Physical requirements: Travel requirements: 20 days per year Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer High-speed internet connection

About remote positions: Full-time position 40 hours/week Work remotely from the comfort of your own home or chosen workspace Receive guidance from your manager and ask all the questions you need Meet with your manager on a weekly basis to review status and brainstorm new projects to accomplish goals Set daily tasks with your manager initially, over time becoming more autonomous and proactive in proposing new ideas to reach goals

Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent At least 3 years of experience working as an Event Coordinator organizing live and online events Experience working on an international team is a must
