Recruiter

EXO Freight is a logistics tech startup that is on a mission to build a technology platform to serve the open deck freight market. We're building a proprietary digital managed marketplace that connects shippers with open deck carriers. We are a team of technology and logistics entrepreneurs solving the open deck freight market.

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Recruiter. In this role, you will be responsible for attracting, screening, and selecting qualified candidates to fill various positions within our organization. Additionally, you will play a key role in the onboarding process, ensuring that new hires are seamlessly integrated into our team and culture.

Responsibilities:

·  Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent.

·   Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.

·  Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.

·  Conduct interviews and assess candidates' suitability for specific roles.

·  Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.

·  Manage the offer process, including negotiating salary and benefits.

·  Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientation sessions and completing necessary paperwork.

·   Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.

·   Maintain accurate records of all recruitment and onboarding activities.

·    Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and onboarding.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.

• Proven experience as a recruiter or in a similar role.

• Familiarity with the logistics industry (preferred but not required).

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems.

• Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Location: Royal Oak

You must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. We have an awesome office in downtown Royal Oak, MI and have a strong preference for candidates to be able to be in the office regularly.
