The People Team ensures that Protocol Labs remains aligned, empowered  and productive. Our team’s mission is to advance PL and empower our people by designing and leading innovative programs that enable Labbers to do their best work. Our small, but mighty team is responsible for ensuring that PL remains a well oiled machine by tackling exciting challenges on a daily basis. Protocol Labs is seeking a dynamic Project Manager with a proven track record of managing large scope projects in a startup or tech-focused environment. This individual will partner with multiple teams and stakeholders across Protocol Labs as the point of contact for planning and overseeing an array of critical projects during a time of monumental company change. What you will do

• Partner with PL business units across legal, finance, people and operations teams to develop and scope detailed project plans and manage project schedules
• Manage collaboration, communication and follow up with internal and external stakeholders regarding project timelines and deliverables 
• Develop a cross-functional KPIs/Performance Measurement Model
• Coordinate and track project timelines, identify risks and dependencies, and deliver requirements, documentation and project progress updates 
• Build automation into workflows to facilitate faster delivery of projects
• Empower teams across the PL Network to adopt project management principles
• Be a reliable go-to resource for questions on project management and process improvements
• Prepare formal report-out communications for team and business units
• Conduct regular and frequent cross-functional team meetings

You'll be a great addition to the team if you have

• 4+ years of project management, business consulting or related experience, preferably in a startup or in the tech industry
• Excellent Google Suite skills
• Familiarity with project management software tools and/or methodologies
• Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope and timeline while collaborating with multiple teams and individuals
• Ability to solve problems creatively, independently and resourcefully
• Ability to adapt to ambiguity and changing internal and external environments, and working through decisions without complete information
• Thrive in a collaborative team environment, and possess the ability to build and maintain successful relationships with all levels of the organization, achieve credibility, and have the ability to influence outcomes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to translate data for different audiences
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with your own work and reviewing the work of others

• BA/BS degree
• Experience in remote and distributed companies
• Working knowledge of Github, Notion, and Discord
• Data Visualization Skills
• Tooling and systems implementation experience
• PM certifications or training
• Strong interest in cryptocurrencies, OSS and decentralized work
