Narrator is looking for a Senior Platform/Infrastructure Engineer to drive and own our next-generation cloud architecture.
What you'll do:
- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure in AWS using infrastructure as code (mostly using AWS CDK)
- Build, operate, and maintain tools to support self-service, quality, security, operations, and compliance projects
- Liaise with engineering and product teams to align their needs with our platform and tools
- Create foundational pipelines and automation to deploy serverless and containerized applications
- Analyze resource requirements and usage, and suggest options to optimize and cut costs
- Promote sound infrastructure and engineering practices, drive work on technical strategy and roadmaps
Who you are:
- Extensive experience with AWS cloud infrastructure
- Experienced with VPC, DNS, IAM, and other infrastructure components
- Experienced in developing infrastructure and automation solutions in a highly-available, multi-region, multi-account environment
- Experienced in supporting build/test/deploy pipelines and Git workflows
- Interested in keeping up with current best practices, tools, and approaches in your areas of expertise
- Familiar with infrastructure as code, serverless technologies, containers, and container orchestration technologies
- Familiar with secure coding practices including OWASP, secrets management, and vulnerability remediation
- Proficient in scripting in Bash, Python, and/or TypeScript
