Role Description
We're seeking a fully remote Junior Software Engineer with a passion for React and JavaScript who is ready to make a significant impact at our fast-growing company. This role involves working closely with our engineering team to develop, maintain, and iterate both the front end and back end of our platform. You'll have the chance to work on various projects, implementing scalable software solutions that drive our mission forward. The ideal candidate will thrive in our collaborative environment, bringing innovative ideas and a problem-solving mindset to our diverse and dynamic team. You will work directly with our engineering leadership to develop and refine our platform, contributing directly to the success and growth of SPRX.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain our Node.js serverless backend
- Design, develop, test, and maintain our React frontend
- See through a project from conception to finished product.
- Meet technical needs and adapt to customer requests.
Job Qualifications:
- Thorough understanding of React and its core principles.
- Experience with popular React libraries like RTK-Query and tailwind
- Experience building APIs
- Experience with Typescript
- Experience with Git
- Experience with Test Driven Development
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field

- A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for code quality.

- Experience with AWS
- Experience with serverless architecture and frameworks (preferably SST)
