As a JavaScript Automation Intern, you will assist our engineers in building workflows using the HiOperator software. This includes using our UI and writing custom javascript functions to make the workflows extra efficient. As part of the role, you will sharpen your Javascript, Python and GraphQL skillset.
We are located in the heart of Dallas and looking for motivated people to be part of a rapidly growing team. You'll get to use cutting-edge software, learn how a bunch of different companies do customer service and have some fun while doing so!
Your key priorities:
Assisting in building out workflows for 4-6 different clients you will help support
Debug the workflows through continuous testing on real world customer service tickets for clients you help support
Continuously optimize and update the workflows to reflect changing processes
Partake in weekly meetings with other workflow engineers to help develop best practices for workflows
Provide feedback to our clients on ways we can improve the processes
Engage with our core engineering team on extending the workflow engine functionality
Requirements:
A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
Knowledge of programming languages, including Javascript, Python and GraphQL
Knowledge of Puppeteer is a plus
Proficient in Google Suite Products
Recent graduate or currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or relevant degree
Excellent communication skills, verbally and written
Highly organized with attention to detail and meeting tight deadlines
Experience using Apple productions is a plus
Experience building a web scraper or working with bot automation is a plus
Eager to learn
Loves building javascript algorithms to solve problems
