Full Stack Software Engineer

As a founding engineer at Intrinsic, you will get the opportunity to join early as we disrupt the fast-changing online abuse and fraud prevention industry. You will help lead the 0-1 of the product with the founders and also help define the initial technology culture across our frontend, backend infrastructure and especially UX, through a complete verticalized use case of LLMs. You will help shape the direction of the company by helping us assemble the right team to build the future of Trust & Safety.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent experience
• Interest in working in online safety and solving complex, adversarial problems at scale
• Experience with full-stack development
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• In-person (we are SF based by default, but flexible when it comes to travel and working remotely while travelling)

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with or building observability platforms
• Experience building ETL pipelines and large-scale data processing
• Interest or experience building experimentation infrastructure
• Experience building infrastructure for training and inference with ML technologies (Sklearn, Pytorch)
• Experience building scalable and real-time ML infrastructure (Spark Streaming, Apache Flink)
• Experience with NextJS, Typescript, and React Frameworks
• Hands-on experience in fraud engineering, Trust & Safety, privacy, and security
• Thrives in uncertainty
