Decohere is re-imagining what it means to make video in the era of Generative AI. We are hiring a Founding Fullstack Engineer to work on our web app. We're looking for a fullstack generalist who feels comfortable working across UI/UX design, frontend dev, and infra. AI/ML experience not required.
You will be joining a small team and have an outsized impact on the direction of the product. This is NOT a pre-revenue startup: we have tens of thousands of weekly active users and are growing quickly month-over-month.
We believe AI video is quickly approaching an inflection point where video generation will be breaking out of the uncanny valley. At Decohere we move fast to keep up with the bleeding edge, while focusing on building the best possible experience for our customers.
What You'll Do
- Develop our web app using Next.js + Typescript
- Scale our infra across Vercel, AWS, and Cloudflare
- Design new UI/UX for AI video workflows
- Ship quickly and often to thousands of users
- Make as many AI videos as you want
- Work directly with CEO & CTO
Who You Are
- Enjoys building products at the cutting edge of what's possible
- Enjoys in person work with peers that match your energy
- B.S. or higher in Computer Science or related fields (or equivalent work experience)
- 2+ years of experience developing full-stack web applications with React
- Have a portfolio of projects, work, or demonstrable skills
Bonus Points
- You have designed, implemented, and launched a Next.js application from scratch
- You are experienced with Chakra UI
- You are familiar with Stable Diffusion, AI Video Generation tools, Midjourney
- You have worked at a startup before
