Director of Product

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced professional with a deep understanding of the at-home care technology market, and expertise in post-acute care and/or elderly care is a significant advantage. The ideal candidate will have experience with discovery of meeting the needs of the end users, via engaging with potential users and developing the product specs based on these needs. They will possess in-depth knowledge of the needs for home care, including perspectives from payers, providers, post-acute care organizations, senior care and caregivers. Your role will involve ensuring the technology aligns with the company's vision, while working closely with the engineering team to develop product specifications and clear requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Industry Expertise: Bring extensive knowledge of the at-home care market, with a focus on elderly care and/or post-acute care, to inform product development and strategy.
• Home Care Plans: Understand and contribute to the development of home care plans, especially the transition of patients from acute to post-acute care settings.
• Collaboration with Engineering: Work directly with the engineering team to translate customer and business needs into product requirements.
• Technology Integration: Oversee the integration of millimeter wave radar, AI, and LLMs into the home care platform, driving contextual awareness, vital sign monitoring and behavioral intervention for end users.
• Market Analysis: Conduct ongoing market analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for innovation within the home care technology space.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, to understand their needs and incorporate feedback into product development.

Qualifications:

• Industry Experience: Proven experience in the home care industry, with a focus on elderly care and/or post-acute care.
• Product Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading product teams, with a track record of bringing innovative products to market.
• Technical Aptitude: Strong technical understanding to collaborate effectively with the engineering team and ensure the development of technology to spec.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to engage with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and contribute to the overall business strategy based on market trends and company goals.

Additional Information: We prefer candidates located in San Francisco/Palo Alto or Los Angeles. Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
