Who we are looking for:

Maverick BioMetals is seeking a rockstar Business Operations Manager who is looking for a career where they can make a significant impact on the world. This role will be fast-paced and vary day-to-day. As our business grows and needs change, so will your role. You will work directly with me, the COO, and you will also have cross-functional interaction with our team of scientists. You will work on a variety of projects that will all work towards commercializing our BioExtraction technology leading to creating a more sustainable future powered by clean energy.

Key Responsibilities

• Build relationships with key stakeholders, such as suppliers, customers, industry partners, and government agencies.

• Conduct market and industry research to guide strategy and decision-making.

• Strategize and evaluate ways to commercialization our technology.

• Ability to anticipate and preemptively solve problems before they escalate.

• Sourcing candidates for hiring.

• Handle other essential business operations, such as building operations, IT, and logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree

• Prior experience in a business operations or customer success role may be an advantage

• Experience at an early stage or high growth startup.

• Demonstrated experience managing external stakeholders, such as customers or suppliers.

• Solid project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.

• Excellent communication, written and verbal, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Prior experience in biotechnology, mining, metals industry may be an advantage (but I believe that any one can get caught up to speed in our industry if they are eager enough to learn).
