Mary Wingo, Ph.D.

Mary Wingo, Ph.D. (University of North Texas) is a human physiologist, scientist, and one of the world's top experts on the study of human stress. She is the author of the best-selling book "Impact of the Human Stress Response", which is a 21st century analysis of the immeasurable biological, social, and financial costs of uncontrolled human stress, particularly in modernized society. She has recently developed an on-line stress assessment application that assigns risk of stress-related illness, disability, and early death depending on the participant's responses. She is a leading expert in the study of human adaptation and with the development of novel stress reduction systems which decrease devastating social, cognitive, and financial problems in the school, workplace, and the home.
