In an effort to bring better visibility for brands and effective business networking, BEAM today announced Company Broadcasting and significant improvements to existing broadcasting features available on both the BEAM App & website.
Starting from today, user can now send our quick updates via the broadcasting feature via their company profiles.
This can easily be done by logging in to the company profile and tapping on the 'New Broadcast' button on the latest version of the app and website.
BEAM has also made significant visibility improvements for broadcasts by people you follow.
A new broadcast row can now be seen on the Messages tab, displaying only broadcasts from people and companies you follow. The row automatically hides itself when there are no broadcasts to display.
Since it's initial launch in August, broadcasts have generated significant positive responses from the community, bringing together many opportunities and professionals across the world.
The BEAM team also mentioned that the company will be investing more heavily in improving tools for businesses, bringing more capabilities for richer content and transactions via the broadcasting feature.
"When we first launched broadcasting, we never imagined that people would actually benefit so much from such a simple text-only feature. Seeing how much the potential is, we'll be focusing greater efforts to bring forth a better alternative avenue for lead generation and business networking.", mentioned Kenneth Ho, CEO of BEAM
