Malaysia & Singapore-based BEAM today announced the launch of the BEAM Angel Investment Program, a program focused on bringing up more angel investors to catalyze the growth of startup companies across South East Asia.

The program combines a cohesive learning experience and the use of technology to allow anyone who wishes to invest in startup/early stage technology companies to be able to learn and gain access to BEAM's online infrastructure of investment tools, connections, and resources.

The educational program also includes a full day intensive course focused on providing in-depth understanding about investing in startups and early stage technology companies. 

Some of these are areas related to deal structuring, risk mitigation, legal due diligence, valuations, exits, and more. Participants will also gain access to BEAM's regional network of professional services, mentors, consultants, and more to assist them in their angel investing journey.

Veteran angel investors, entrepreneurs, and representatives from venture capital, legal, and corporate taxation background will be the speakers and panelists for the session. Some of them include Andrew Tan and Jin Tan from TinkBig Ventures, Lai Chee Hoe from Chee Hoe and Associates, Rashid Mohd. Nor from DELCO, and Wen Haur, Yeap from ACUMEN Bizcorp.

Included in the program is also complete access to BEAM's deal-flow, analytics, and communications platform, which streamlines a broad array of companies raising funds together with their verified performance metrics. 

The platform also includes a portfolio management system for investors to easily keep track and monitor their investments, especially companies they have invested in and those they're keeping a close watch on.

Entrepreneurs on the other hand, will be able to easily submit fundraising requests via the app and the website.

The BEAM Angel Investment Program will commence starting from 7th January 2017 in Malaysia, and 25th February in Singapore. The program will be opened to a limited number of early bird registrations.
